EMMERDALE’S Wendy Posner will beg her son Luke to be honest with his girlfriend Victoria Sugden after discovering he’s on a gay dating app.
The midwife – who is played by actress Susan Cookson in the ITV soap – will discover that Luke is on an app for gay and bisexual men later this week.

Viewers know Luke had a make ex who he claimed was a one night stand, but was in fact a major relationship.
And this week the storyline will be revisited when Ethan Anderson looks to meet up with a man he has been talking to on the app.
In a spoiler clip from the ITV soap it is clear that Luke is revealed to be that man – and Wendy is seriously concerned for him.
She asks him: “Luke, have you spoken to Ethan?
“He’s told me about you and him and the dating app.”
But far from answering her and being honest with his mum, Luke rushes out muttering his apologies.
“I’m sorry, I don’t have time for this,” he says as the clip ends.
Luke has been lying about his sexuality for months – insisting that he simply had a one night stand with Ethan’s former flatmate and never saw him again.
Eventually with Ethan in the village, Luke opened up about his past but lied to girlfriend Victoria about the extent of his gay experiences.
He even made her feel bad about questioning their relationship over that one night stand.
But will she be able to forgive his lies or will she again have her heart broken?
