ESCAPE to the Chateau’s fans have pleaded Dick and Angel to redecorate their favourite room, the library.
The Channel 4 couple shared a new snap of their stunning library at their French home, but fans thought it could do with a bit of a change.

Fans noticed that the library room didn’t have a “comfy” chair
Fans of the show told Dick and Angel to make some changes to their beloved reading room.
The comments were full of praise for the jaw-dropping room but viewers felt like it could do with a more comfortable chair.
One fan commented: “I absolutely love this room but I think it needs another comfortable chair.”
Another wrote: “Absolutely love this room although you need a big comfy wingback in there.”
A third echoed: ” You need a better comfy recliner chair in there.”
While a fourth added: “I would need a cushy couch or window seat! Doesn’t look comfortable.”
The stars shared the snap with their 250,000 followers on their joint Instagram account.
Along with the picture, which showed Dick reading a book, the Escape to the Chateau couple captioned the post: “Curling up with a good book is one of our favourite Sunday activities… and what a beautiful spot at The Chateau for exactly that.

The beautiful library room is very spacious with built-in shelves and a unique turret room.
There is also a ladder in the room to allow for easy access to the books that are high up.
