ESCAPE to the Chateau star Dick Strawbridge has revealed that he and his family are leaving for Australia as they embark on a new project.
Fans of the Channel 4 show were left devastated last year when it came to an end after six years.

Dick and Angel will be heading on a tour Down Under and New Zealand and on Tuesday, Dick said an emotional goodbye to his eldest son James, 39, via video call.
Cornish chef James shared a screenshot of the special moment and wrote: “Have fun in Australia!”
The TV favourite will be visiting Oz with Angel and their younger children Arthur, ten, and daughter Dorothy, nine.
Dick also has a daughter called Charlotte, 37, who is an artist and writer.
James previously opened up about his close relationship with his dad and praised him for being a good grandfather to his children.
“He’s good. Very much like some people are with puppies, he winds them up then gives them back,” he told Hello! magazine.
“When he sees the children, he loves playing with them, the rough and tumble.
“Quite a lot of high energy play but equally we should do a competition who will fall asleep first my dad or the children. He’s a good classic grandpa.”
Escape to the Chateau viewers had grown used to seeing the couple working on their stunning French home.
The couple decided to step away from the programme for the sake of their young children, Arthur and Dorothy.
Fans were left emotional as they tuned into the final episode in December.
One wrote: “I’m so upset, cannot believe we’re not going to see any more of your adventures. Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories over the years. We will miss you all so much.”
Another added: “Omg I am crying at Escape to the Chateau just beautiful, thank you Angel for sharing your lovely family and journey with us all. Your inspiration that has inspired me.”
A third tweeted: “Crying after the final episode. I made my move to France inspired by Dick and Angel and it seems to sad to be saying goodbye to them.”
