She struggles to keep her love for Suki a secret next week
Suki Panesar (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) has played a jarring game of push and pull with love interest Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) as she’s struggled to come to terms with her sexuality.
However, in recent scenes of the BBC One soap, the pair managed to let loose and allow their romantic connection to blossom – right behind Suki’s husband’s back.
Coming up in Albert Square, Suki and Eve return from a business trip in Leeds, on which Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) sent them, all loved-up.
Unfortunately, Nish spoils their moment – how will they react?
Later on, Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) tries to get Eve involved in helping throw a surprise birthday party for Nish.
During these scenes, Vinny drops a devastating bombshell on Eve as he innocently tells her that Nish sent him out so he could be alone with Suki.
Eve is fearful that Nish is coercing Suki, her lover, into sleeping with him.
Unable to cope with Vinny’s revelation, Eve gives Suki the cold shoulder but the businesswoman insists that Nish hasn’t pushed her to sleep with him – she only does it to throw him off their scent.
But Eve is in love with Suki and makes feelings clear before telling her she can’t take this situation any longer.
Later on, however, Eve is forced back into business with Nish as they go to see shady Arjun to lay down the new terms of the chicken shop money laundering business.
Everything goes south until Suki and Vinny save the day with some tough negotiating.
Nish is far from thankful and is, in fact, simmering that Suki has stepped in.
He unleashes his anger at both her and Vinny for undermining him and Eve makes things worse by standing up for Suki.
She’s left heartbroken when Suki tells her she can fight her own battles.
Eve is at the end of her rope and, in later scenes, she goes to see Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) with an offer he can’t possibly refuse – she’s willing to turn informant and serve up Nish Panesar’s head on a plate.
Yet, Jack is uncertain about the informant deal, prompting an undeterred Eve to take a risk and get the evidence she needs herself.
But there’s more trouble ahead for her and Suki as Nish calls the Leeds hotel they stayed in during their trip and learns that only one room was booked.
How will he react?
