LOVE Island winner Davide Sanclimenti found himself in trouble in the Maldives after arriving at a fancy restaurant.
Davide and girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu – who won the 2022 series – decided to skip out on who was taking over their reigning champ status and instead head to the Maldives together.
Love Island’s Davide was forced to leave a posh restaurant
Taking a GoPro with them, they have been keeping fans up to date on their goings on ever since via vlogs.
While their exotic and picturesque getaway was full of fine dining, sun-lounging, and snorkeling, Davide found himself red-faced the next morning when he was kicked out of their resort’s restaurant.
The reason? Davide wasn’t wearing a shirt, which is a requirement at the eatery.
“Morning, just been kicked out of the restaurant. They told me I need to go and [get] a t-shirt,” Davide mumbled at the end of their first vlog, as he left Ekin-Su to return to their room.
Arriving to the airport in a limo, the pair had a panicky moment after nearly missing their flight after not checking in ahead of time.
Throughout the video, Ekin-Su and Davide were seen playing around with each other, sharing giggles as they made the most of their fancy flight and first days in the tropical destination.
Davide was later treated to a special belated birthday cake complete with a romantic card from Ekin-Su.
Seven months after they were crowned champions of the villa, the pair decided to head off on holiday together, celebrating the end of Ekin-Su’s stint on Dancing On Ice.
It was also just in time to swerve watching the latest Love Island finale, where the new winners were crowned.
Last night, Sanam Harrinanan and boyfriend Kai Fagan were crowned Love Island‘s winter 2023 champions, beating out Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall at the final hurdle.
Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall were the runners-up, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi came in third place, with Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga coming in fourth.
Sanam’s win was particularly notable as she is the first-ever bombshell to arrive in Casa Amor to win the show – breaking the long-held ‘Casa Curse’.
The islanders are due to arrive back in England today, with their first week back to reality being documented for a special episode that will aired next week.
