FORMER Love Island star Faye Winter has slammed the hit dating show for not sending the iconic postcard in this year, and slammed the “cheating” villa boys.
In previous years a cheery-looking card detailing some of the most shocking moments from the other house, Casa Amor, would land on the doormat.
It proved controversial, though was popular with some viewers because of the drama it unleashed.
However, this year, TV bosses have decided not to do it, believing a postcard “wasn’t the right move”.
Slamming the decision not to send a postcard this year, Faye, 26, said on Instagram: “I’m gutted these guys didn’t get the postcard this year.
“If I didn’t get the postcard last year, one I wouldn’t have lost my head, two I wouldn’t have lost my man, and three I wouldn’t have been an absolute d**khead on TV.”
Faye met her now-boyfriend Teddy Soares, 26, on the hit dating show, but it wasn’t all plain-sailing for the pair, as viewers accused producers of “setting-up” Teddy in the postcard that year.
Viewers were furious as he was made to look like he’d been cheating on Faye – but let Liam get away with his naughty antics with Lillie.
This year hasn’t been short of drama during the Casa Amor segment of the show, with a string of islanders choosing to snog newbies despite their current couples.
Things have been heating up with Andrew and new girl Coco Lodge, with viewers even convinced the pair had sex on their first night together.
Over in the other villa, Tasha has had a romantic connection with new boy Billy Brown and last night’s episode saw them share a smooch.
Jacques, too, has swayed from Paige, despite her staying loyal while in Casa Amor.
The rugby player has been getting to know the girls and kissed Cheyanne Kerr in a recent episode.
Dami has also shared a smooth during Casa Amor with new recruit Summer, despite being coupled up with Indiyah.
And Love Island viewers were left devastated for Ekin-Su when Davide snogged two girls in the same night.
The moves come ahead of a dramatic recoupling where the Islanders will be forced to decide whether to abandon their couples.
Love Island returns to ITV2 tonight at 9pm
