After an eighteen-year hiatus, Family Fortunes returned to ITV in 2020, with Gino revealed as the new host of the show.

The family game show allows two families to guess the most popular responses to everyday questions surveyed by 100 members of the British public to win cash prizes.

The Dayalan Family from Oxfordshire will go head to head with the Bibby Family from St Helens this week to win a £30,000 jackpot prize.

The first episode of the show aired on 6 January 1980.

After 22 seasons, due to its unpopularity at the time, on 30 November 2002, the show came to an end.

Since the show rebooted, there have been many moments that remind fans just how iconic the format is.

From awkward spelling mistakes to bizarre answers, Gino seems to tackle them all, even when he  gets frustrated.

The new episode will air on Sunday at 6:30 pm on ITV.
