Fans spot spooky moment that predicted Phil’s fate after cameo in Jennifer Anison’s The Morning Show

THIS Morning fans have spotted the spooky moment that predicted Phillip Schofield’s fate.

The TV presenter, 61 — who was last week axed from This Morning — initially left the show he’d been presenting for 21 years over a growing feud with best pal Holly.

His departure also came after his paedo brother Tim was jailed for sickening child sex offences.

Just six days later, he made a bombshell revelation about his “consensual on-off relationship” – leaving him no choice but to quit ITV altogether. 

And some believe a cameo in Jennifer Aniston TV series The Morning Show, hinted at his ITV fate.

The Apple TV+ show gives viewers a glimpse of the much loved British magazine programme during a scene where Jennifer Aniston’s character is arguing with producers.

In the background TV screen, Phillip Schofield is in conversation with This Morning mainstay Dr Chris Steele.

The man himself shared the clip on his Twitter at the time, captioning it, “Love this!!”

The Jennifer Aniston series touches on the #MeToo scandal, with Alex Levy’s (Jennifer Aniston) co-anchor Mitch Kessler (Stever Carell) being fired for sexual misconduct.

Phillip Schofield is not accused of sexual misconduct.

The Celeb Report has since revealed Phil had trysts with a toyboy lover who he would sneak into a £1million flat next to the ITV studios, it was claimed last night.

ITV said no one employed on the daytime show knew of the affair as Phillip “lied” to everyone.

Meanwhile, Holly said it had been “hurtful” to discover he had lied to her about the affair.

On Saturday a spokesperson said: “Further to our statement last night, ITV can confirm that when rumours of a relationship between Phillip Schofield and an employee of ITV first began to circulate in early 2020 ITV investigated.

“Both parties were questioned and both categorically and repeatedly denied the rumours as did Phillip’s then agency YMU.

“In addition, ITV spoke to a number of people who worked on This Morning and were not provided with, and did not find, any evidence of a relationship beyond hearsay and rumour.

“Phillip’s statement reveals that he lied to people at ITV, from senior management to fellow presenters, to YMU, to the media and to others over this relationship.”
