Fears for Hannah Spearritt as she Misses 'Several' Dancing On Ice Training Sessions

S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt has raised concerns as she has skipped multiple training sessions for the upcoming season of Dancing On Ice.

Hannah Spearritt, the 42-year-old singer, who is partnered with professional skater Andy Buchanan, has fallen behind on her training schedule, leaving TV bosses worried about her readiness for the first show in January. The training sessions have been in full swing for the past few months, but Hannah has missed several of them, causing concern among the production team.

Will She Be Ready?

The first live show is only two weeks away, and sources close to the show have expressed their concerns about Hannah's preparedness. A TV insider said, "Hannah is on thin ice. She has missed a number of rehearsals with Andy, and there are fears that she won't be ready. All the performances are live, so any mistakes, mishaps, or, in the worst case, falls are caught live on camera."

While Andy, the professional skater, will handle the more complex elements of the routines, it is crucial for the celebrity to have a base level of ability. Hannah, despite her dance experience from her pop star days, is finding ice skating to be very different. The competition this season includes actors Ryan Thomas and Claire Sweeney, ex-boxer Ricky Hatton, former Olympic ski-jumper Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, and reality TV star Amber Davies.

Finding Solace in Ice Skating

Hannah made headlines earlier this year when she pulled out of S Club 7's planned reunion tour following the death of bandmate Paul Cattermole in April. Since then, she has revealed that she hasn't spoken to any of the band members since she quit the tour. In an interview with The Celeb Report on Sunday, Hannah expressed her uncertainty about performing with the group again. She said, "I've not spoken to any of them since I left, which is fine. I was extremely excited - we all were - to get back as a seven. But then Paul died and everything changed. It gave me time to reflect on whether it was the right thing for me to do. I'm sad we aren't in touch. They've gone their way and I've gone mine. I wish them all the best."

Despite the challenges she faces on the ice, Hannah is determined to give her best on Dancing On Ice and prove herself as a capable ice skater.
