Ferne McCann’s boyfriend breaks down in tears over ‘white powder’ video in upcoming First Time Mum episode

FERNE McCann’s hunky new boyfriend Lorri Haines breaks down during the next episode of her hit reality TV show – after video footage of him appearing to take drugs appeared online.

The loved-up couple, who started dating in January, were filming her ITVBe show First Time Mum and were on holiday in the Maldives when the story broke.

Visibly shaking as he’s confronted by his distraught and shocked girlfriend Lorri says: “I just feel so guilty and that I’m a burden to you.

“How have I done this to you? You don’t deserve this. I feel so guilty and I want to apologise to you. “I feel like I’ve let you down. I’ve lost everything.

“I’ve come so far in my life to be a better person, I’ve done extensive amounts of therapy so to  bring this to your doorstep is a punch in the face.”

In an exclusive interview with The Celeb Report on Sunday, Ferne, 31, admits that it was difficult being in the “eye of the storm” but she’s happy that viewers will get the chance to see how they deal with it as a couple.

She said: “It was something from his past that happened and it came out in the press. We were in the thick of filming, it’s hard when you’re in the eye of the storm and I’ve been there many times, that is the down side of being in the public eye.

“Something like this can happen and it’s completely out of your control.

Obviously it wasn’t me, and I don’t condone drug taking, but it was something that I had to deal with and we cover it in episode two.

“I’ve always been open and talked honestly, so of course that’s what happens on the show.”

Ferne and Lorri were able to move on after their heart to heart, which viewers can watch this week, and are more loved up than ever.

Lorri, 31, who was based in Dubai when they first met, has moved into Ferne’s family home in Essex which she shares with four-year-old daughter Sunday.

The real estate agent also has a young son from a previous relationship.

Speaking about their blended family Ferne said: “Lorri came into my life totally unexpectedly and it has been a complete whirlwind.

“Equally, I’ve always been a single parent, Sunday and I have got this special unique bond so when Lorri came into our lives I wanted to make sure I got it right.

“I wanted it all to be handled sensitively for Sunday’s sake, she’s my priority.

“What’s so nice though is for the first time since I started the show I’m happy and in love. When we first started I knew I was going to be a single mum.

“There wasn’t really anything that represented single parents the way the show does so it kind of made it a really unique reality show because it stood out from the rest.

“The show has always covered exactly what’s going on in my life at the time and there have been lots of ups and downs.

“But I’m proud to represent single parent families and some of the struggles they face.

Ferne added: “It’s always been me and Sunday, she’s never known any different, so it’s nice that we’ve now got Lorri in our lives especially as he’s also a dad.

“It feels very different and I’m just very much enjoying the relationship. We have to be sensible and pace ourselves which is what we are doing. I needed to be sure Sunday was happy.

“And what’s been really nice about this series is Sunday is now that little bit older now.

“When we first started the show I was pregnant and now she’s nearly five and at school. She’s grown up with the cameras and thinks it’s the norm having them around.

“We know the production crew so well, they’ve been with me since I was pregnant before Sunday was even born, which is really lovely.

“We were in Dubai back in January and she said ‘Mummy am I on the tele? That was the first moment she realised.

“She’s getting to an age where I’m going to have to explain it to her because of course it is a bit strange having cameras around but the crew have become extended family members.

“When she asked me that I was like wow, she is actually famous in her own little right. It is something I think about a lot.

“Especially if she decides when she’s older that she wants to do more filming, we’ll have to cross that bridge if it comes to it.

“At her school they are so supportive, children are children they don’t know. And as for the mums at the school gates well I’m really excited for the mums night out we’ve got planned.

“I don’t know if they’re tuning into the show as it’s the first time it’s been on while Sunday has been at school, but I’m sure I’ll find out.”

Readers can watch the second episode of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum at 9pm on ITVBe on Wednesday night.
