ITV unveils The Vivienne’s cameo appearance

ITV has released a first look at The Vivienne's cameo appearance in their popular comedy series, just weeks after the star's passing. The Vivienne, also known as James Lee Williams, who was the winner of the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and placed third on Dancing On Ice in 2023, tragically passed away at the age of 32 at the beginning of January.

Dedicated episode in honor of The Vivienne

Despite the star's untimely death, The Vivienne filmed a cameo for ITV's second series of G'wed before their passing. The upcoming episode of the show, set to air next month, will feature The Vivienne in a special role as a nightclub owner who gives a character a chance after being impressed by their comedic talent.

Executive producer Mario Stylianides expressed the sadness felt by the cast and crew over The Vivienne's passing and announced that the first episode of the new series will be dedicated to the late star. The Vivienne was described as a trailblazing icon and a beloved part of the G'wed family.

Following The Vivienne's passing, their publicist Simon Jones shared a heartfelt message, stating the immense sadness felt by all who knew and loved James Lee Williams. The family requested privacy to grieve and process the loss of their son, brother, and uncle.
