And it looks like they’ve already secured their first contestant.

Student and fashion designer Andre Furtado, 21, has been lined up by ITV2 producers for the upcoming season presented by Maya Jama.

The Mail reported that the Dudley-based lad – who finished his three-year long degree in business economics and is the co-founder of fashion line Social Kids – will join the reality show next month.

A source told the publication: “Andre is the perfect Love Island signing… he’s cool, calm, collected, and ready to mingle.

“He knows himself but without being arrogant and producers are hoping his intellect, as well as his creativity and handsome looks will make him a favourite among the females.”

A spokesperson for ITV commented: “This is speculation, our line-up will be announced in due course.”

Andre has a modest social media following with 1,735 on Instagram.

He recently replied to a fan when quizzed about his clothing inspirations during a Q&A.

Andre said: “A lot of people to be honest, from all of the guys at SK to my boy from work. Wide variety, I’m trying to diversify my style more though.”

Fear not, there isn’t long to wait until you can get your next Love Island fix.

The Celeb Report exclusively revealed how the summer series will kick off on Monday June 5, 2023.

A source told us: “This series will be eight weeks long, meaning the couple who win the show will be in the villa for two months.”

Maya Jama will return as host following her huge success on the winter version of the show.
