First Time Mum star Ferne McCann shocks fans as she takes daughter Sunday on ‘budget’ £200 toy shopping spree

FERNE McCann loves treating her daughter, and she and fiancé Lorri really splurged during a recent trip to London.

On Sunday night’s episode of First Time Mum – the star’s ITV Be series – the 32-year-old had the cameras follow her about normal family life in Essex.

Her four-year-old daughter, Sunday, had been behaving at home, and Ferne had been awarding her with stickers.

Once she reached eight stickers, Ferne and Lorri told her she’d earned a trip to luxurious London toy store, Hamleys.

The blended family then drove into central London and let Sunday loose.

They made it clear to their daughter that she had an £80 budget, £10 for every sticker earned for good behaviour.

The scene then cut to Ferne explaining how she “wants Sunday to know the value of money, and that you have to work hard for what you want”.

The £80 budget might seem incredibly high for many, but the mum was determined she stick to it.

However, when they headed to the till to round things up, they got a bit of a shock.

The cashier told them that the total was just shy of £195, as Ferne exclaimed “195 quid?!”

The show’s narrator joked that the high cost was down to Ferne putting more things for herself in the trolly rather than for Sunday.

As the family headed home, Lorri was filmed with multiple huge bags full of treats for his step-daughter.

Once they were back in Essex, she was struggling to find space to keep all of her toys in her kitted-out, stylish bedroom.
