First trailer for Changing Rooms reboot reveals two new designers joining Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Anna Williamson

ICONIC Channel 4 design show Changing Rooms has been given a makeover with a new look line-up – including two new designers.

The trailer for the upcoming reboot of the DIY series has revealed interior designer Laurence Llwelyn-Bowen and Anna Richardson come together.

Jordan and Russell are the two new designers on the block

They will join Anna Richardson as part of a new cast shake-up

Changing Rooms was a firm favourite for the British public between 1996 and 2004 – showing fans how to transform their homes with DIY.

While it was presented by Carol Smillie until 2003 – Laurence took over for the final year, and he has returned 17 years later for the reboot.

While Davina McCall had been signed as Laurence’s co-host, she was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with The Masked Singer.

So Anna Richardson joined the line-up, alongside two fresh designers – Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead of the 2LG Studio.

Carpenter and joiner Tibby Singh will also become part of the new team, who will come together over six episodes to transform homes.

Each instalment will see two sets of homeowners from the same neighbourhood take on the task of renovating each other’s homes.

To make the challenge even more difficult, the two homeowners will also be up against the clock in order to get things done on schedule.

Laurence or Jordan and Russell will be on hand in order to help turn the contestants visions into a reality with their design expertise.

The trailer shows the cast dressed in brightly coloured shows as they smile towards the camera, standing in various home interiors.

New faces Jordan and Russell took to social media to share their excitement to join the cast, telling viewers they couldn’t wait for them to watch the first show.

Changing Rooms is set to premiere later this months, with the first set of renovations taking place in Swansea, South Wales.

Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen has already been singing the praises of new host Anna Richardson and revealed she’ll bring her Naked Attraction cheekiness to the show.

Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, he says: “What’s really nice with Anna is she has a sort of Peter Panishness, a puckishness, a naughtiness that she’s very much bringing to this.

“I think everyone who’s watched Naked Attraction knows she’s very clever with words, she’s very good at getting information out of people and that’s definitely something she’s using very well.”

It’s a perfect match for Laurence, 57, whose flamboyant fashion, flowing hair and wild designs made him must-watch TV when he burst onto the box in the late 90s.

He says: “Changing Rooms was always a bit subversive. I was the Pope of subversion throughout that show, and certainly that is something that will never go, but it’s become part of the woodwork of what we’re doing, which I really like. Who says everything should be ghastly good taste? Who says the nation should be living in well-behaved greige spaces?

“I’ve always been who I am. After all these many years of being on television it still surprises me when people say you’re exactly like you are on television. Well durr, yeah, television was there to film me doing what I was doing. I wasn’t there to be on television.”

Changing Rooms launches on Wednesday August 18 at 8pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
