Former BBC Presenter Speaks Out on New Role as Show Gets Axed

Jason Rosam to Return to Airwaves

After bidding farewell to BBC Radio London in January following the announcement that his show was being replaced, former BBC presenter Jason Rosam is set to make a comeback with a new breakfast show on Riverside Radio starting from March 11.

Decision to Leave BBC

In an exclusive interview, Rosam revealed that despite being offered another role within the BBC, he chose to take redundancy after 16 years with the organization. He expressed his fondness for his time at the BBC but felt it was time to move on due to changes in the regionalization of local radio.

New Role on Riverside Radio

Rosam shared his excitement for his new role on Riverside Radio, where he will be joined by Alison Palmer, Ali Ineson, and comedian Suzi Wild. He had started Riverside Radio as a community radio station a decade ago, alongside his BBC gig.

Farewell to BBC Radio London

Reflecting on his departure from BBC Radio London, Rosam described his 16-year journey at the BBC as an adventure filled with stories and experiences that have shaped him. He bid goodbye to his listeners with a promise of a 'see you later.'
