Former EastEnders and Grange Hill star Sean Maguire has undergone a remarkable transformation, looking completely different from the iconic roles that made him a household name.
From Tegs Ratcliffe to Family Man
The English-American actor, now 48 and based in LA, first gained fame as the angel-faced Tegs Ratcliffe in 1988 on BBC kids TV show Grange Hill. He later portrayed troubled teen Aidan Brosnan on EastEnders, delving into gritty storylines of homelessness and drug abuse.
After achieving pop stardom post-Walford, Sean now sports a beard, blonde hair, and a moustache. His Instagram showcases a family-oriented life in America, alongside his wife Tanya Flynn, a former cop, and their three children.
Embracing Family Life in California
Sean and Tanya, who recently welcomed daughter Amélie Rose in September 2021, have made sunny California their home since 2000. Sean, now a US citizen, has seen success in Hollywood with roles in films like Meet The Spartans and TV series such as Once Upon A Time.
Aside from acting, Sean runs The Players Conservatory, mentoring aspiring actors and sharing his passion for the craft.
