Former Strictly Come Dancing star Arlene Phillips has ignited a new feud as she criticizes the current judges on the popular BBC program. Arlene, who was a judge on the show from 2004 to 2009, didn't hold back in her comments.
Boring Feedback and Rambling Judges
In an interview with OK! Magazine, the 80-year-old expressed her dissatisfaction with the judges' comments on Strictly. She stated, "The one thing about Strictly that I don't really enjoy anymore is the segment with the judges' comments. I think they go on far too long. I usually just fast-forward those bits."
Arlene also made an appearance on BBC Breakfast last month, where she hinted at a secret feud among the judges. When asked about forming bonds on the show, she replied, "Yeah, you form a bond with some, you actually can't stand others, but you know that's life."
Fond Memories and Missing the Show
Despite her criticisms, Arlene admitted that she misses being part of the "crazy, crazy life" of Strictly. She was a panelist alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli. In 2008, it was announced that Arlene would be leaving the show and would be replaced by Alesha Dixon.
It seems that Arlene Phillips' time on Strictly Come Dancing continues to stir up controversy, even years after her departure.
