Four in a Bed viewers blast winners after HUGE underpayment led to their victory

FOUR In The Bed viewers were left shouting at their TVs last night.

It was after the winning B&B was blasted when they scooped the title after a HUGE underpayment led to their victory.

Fans were fuming that Sian and Mary won Four In The Bed

It was after they underpaid fellow B&B owners Karl and Steph in a ‘tactical vote’

The popular Channel 4 show involves four B&B owners, who take turns to stay with one another – and pay what they consider fair for their stay.

The winner is the establishment named best value for money.

But in the latest episode fans were left fuming following a “tactical vote” from one set of B&B owners.

The show saw sparks fly as owners of the Wales-based The Griffin Inn saw Sian and Mary only fork out £30 out of the £60 cost for the room to Karl and Steph — the proprietors of The Cedarville Guest House.

The pairs reasoning for the small offering was that they accused Steph of being “overdramatic” during an incident on an excursion in which she came face to face with a tarantula – despite being arachnophobic .

They also claimed they were “robbed of sea view room” despite The Cedarville Guest House not overlooking the ocean.

However, when the payment day arrived, and it was revealed Sian and Mary had underpaid because of such unfair reasons, Steph hit feedback saying: “I’m absolutely astonished. I’d rather you not paid me at all.”

Steph and Karl weren’t the only ones unhappy with how the situation unfolded, with many viewers taking to Twitter to vent their frustration that Sian and Mary ended up being joint winners.

One viewer tweeted: “Can’t get over that £30 underpayment from Sian and Mary. I’d be much happier to stay with Karl & Steph. “Over dramatic”?! You know they only did that activity for the show and Steph faced a genuine fear.”

While another said: “£30 is a f*****g insult.”

Another commented: “Sadly this will be a Griffin win. Underpay everyone else but get decent folk to pay in full for their stay at your gaff.”

This fan tweeted: “£30 despicable game player”.

But despite the viewers and Steph’s reaction Sian and Mary were crowned joint winners for The Griffin Inn along with Helen and Sally owners of The Kedleston Country House.

Meanwhile Sophia Biggs and Dani Drew also missed out on the winning title after their self-catering suites The Jewellery Suites in Birmingham failed to impress guests.
