Popular French Singer Seriously Injured
French singer Kendji Girac, known for winning The Voice France in 2014 and working with musical icons like Mika, has been seriously injured after being shot in the chest during a horror attack in France. The 27-year-old singer was quickly transported to the University Hospital in Bordeaux and is currently awake and conscious, although his condition is described as "life threatening."

Girac was on his way back from a camp in Biscarrosse when he was wounded by a rampaging gunman in the early hours of Monday morning. It is unclear if Girac was specifically targeted in the attack.
