THOUSANDS have sat on the This Morning couch over the decades, but some appearances live long in the memory.
That was certainly the case with Jodie Marsh, who has vowed to never return to the ITV show after an infamous interview in 2016.

Jodie took Holly and Phillip to task over the disastrous interview
Jodie left fans screaming at the TV when it became clear she had lipstick on her teeth throughout an entire segment about why she had decided to freeze her eggs.
Viewers accused Holly of breaking the ‘girl code’ and the former glamour model, 44, fuelled the flames by sharing a post on Instagram saying there was a “special place in hell for a woman who does not tell another woman when she has lipstick on her teeth”.
This week, after Phillip sensationally confirmed his affair with a young staff member on the show, Jodie returned to social media to pull up the host on his ‘hurtful’ questioning during the disastrous interview.
Now, she tells The Celeb Report how the pair handled the aftermath of lipstickgate and how she was “p***ed off” by the “crude and gross” exchange.
Jodie told us: “Everyone thinks I was p***ed off about the lipstick thing. Yes, it p***ed me off that neither of them told me I had lipstick on my teeth, but it wasn’t actually even that that annoyed me the most.
“What annoyed me the most was I was there to talk about freezing my eggs and having a child on my own, which is a really raw emotional subject, and Phillip turned the interview to sex and my exes.
“He just wanted to be crude and gross and basically just wanted to talk about my exes and my love of sex, and how I’ve admitted in the past I’m addicted to sex.
Jodie has had a drastic career change in the years since and now runs an animal sanctuary
“Actually, at that point – and the point he kept missing – I’d been celibate for five years. And I kept saying that.
“And then he was like, ‘But don’t you miss the sex? Don’t you miss it?'”
While the brash line of questioning annoyed Jodie the most, she was also offended that Holly later insisted in a tweet that she HAD told her she had lipstick on her teeth.
However, Jodie, who recently told us about her new life running an animal sanctuary, adds: “She told me when the interview was finished and we’d cut to an ad break.”
Cold shoulder
Jodie says Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are much nicer off-screen
That was the last time Jodie ever went on This Morning, despite being asked back.
She continues: “Holly and Phil, they’ve always been the same. You go on This Morning, and they will not talk to you off camera.
“You’ll get thrown in a dressing room by a producer or runner and then you don’t get to talk to them until you’re sitting on the sofa.”
On the flip side, Jodie says she would have gone on the show if it had been Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford “or anyone else” presenting.
“I love Ruth and Eamonn,” she adds. “Absolutely adore them.
“They would make time for you, they would talk to you. They were amazing.”
Another telly couple Jodie is a big fan of is Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.
She says: “They would make time for everyone. And I mean everyone.
“To the point that, when Richard and Judy were on, I was leaving the studio once, having done an interview, and Richard chased me out of the studio and ran to my car to tell me something he’d forgotten to tell me, basically giving me some advice about something.
“That’s how nice they were.”
Phillip told The Celeb Report this week he was ‘broken and ashamed’ by his affair with a young member of staff on the show
Back in the Nineties, Jodie was one of the biggest glamour models in the UK, renowned for falling out of clubs drunk, wearing next to nothing and partying most nights of the week.
But her life couldn’t be more different now, having shunned the limelight to run an animal sanctuary – Fripps Farm, in Chelmsford, Essex.
Since opening in 2020 the farm has snowballed, and she now cares for around 350 animals, including meerkats, sheep, emus, birds, rabbits and even a baby deer.
Jodie says most nights she doesn’t get to bed until 2am – not because she’s out on the lash, but because she’s looking after her animals.
And, in contrast to her later career as a prize-winning bodybuilder, she says the busy schedule has taken its toll on her figure.
She told us: “The reason I’m now fat and haven’t got a six pack is because I don’t have time to eat properly or even do the food shopping. Not ever.
“I used to cook healthy meals and don’t have time for that anymore.
“I don’t gym at the moment either. I don’t have time. It’s manic.”
