FURIOUS Love Island fans “complained to Ofcom” after the shock final result.
In a huge twist Sammy Root and Jess Harding beat Love Island favourites Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki to scoop the £50k prize.

Despite the fact the winning couple is voted for by the viewers, many took to social media to hit out at the result – with some insisting they were left “disgusted” by it.
One person wrote: “I say we all do an Ofcom complaint about this robbery.”
Another said: “I’m signing off because I don’t believe Jess won with Sammy. It’s Ofcom time again.”
Someone else said: “Jess and Sammy? Ofcom and ITV y’all got 24 hrs to fix this.”
And a fourth added: “I’m mad abt who won bc wtf… I’m disgusted.”
Days before the final eagle-eyed fans were left convinced on/off couple Sammy and Jess knew each other before meeting in the villa.
One fan spotted a photo of Jess on Instagram that Sammy had liked – months before going on Love Island.
It also turns out that she also follows one of his friends.
Taking to Reddit the viewer posted the picture and asked fellow fans if they think this proves they DID know each other before.
Love Island viewers were quick to comment, with one writing: “This is so crazy, but i’m not so surprised because they are very similar and from close areas I believe? so I’m not too surprised that they run in at-least close circles!!”
