LOVE Island fans were left disgusted after Jaques O’Neill talked about having ‘sex flashbacks’ about his ex to current squeeze, Paige Taylor.
To make matters worse for fans, Jacques’ admission about sex with his ex Gemma Owen was at a time when she was still in school.
The controversy started during a conversation between Jacques and Paige after the sexy heart rate challenge on Tuesday’s episode.
In the challenge, the cast are strapped with monitors so bosses can judge whose heart beat fastest for whom during a sexy dance.
Gemma, a champion dressage rider donned sexy riding attire for her dance and proved to be the biggest turn-on for her former fella Jacques, who she dated for eight months during lockdown.
He later told Paige – with whom he was coupled up with in the villa and said he never cared for a girl the way he cares for her – Gemma’s dance gave him “flashbacks” of their time together.
Fans watching at home were grossed out by Jacques confession on a lot of different levels.
“Jacques calling gemma a clown and telling her to shut up, then later on saying he got flashbacks of having sex with her 16 year old self?? this man rlly does see women as objects,” commented one fan on Twitter.

Another added: “a flashback to what jacques? picking gemma up from school?”
A third wrote: “I don’t know how #LoveIsland kept Jacques saying that he had flashbacks of Gemma being sexy when they dated and we all know Gemma was SIXTEEN at the time.”
A fourth pointed out: “you have a Duty of Care to your Islanders. Currently, you are standing by as Jacques has been accused of bullying Remi, being rude to Ekin su, being dismissive of Gemma and showing signs of emotional abuse towards Paige. He needs to leave.”
The reaction to Jacques’ admission comes after he was slammed for his angry reaction to Paige.
The rugby player lost Paige to Jay Younger in the recent recoupling and fumed about her decision to go for a walk with the latter, even though she has made her feelings for Jacques clear.
Even though Paige had reassured him that she was still interested in Jacques despite being paired with Jay now, he did not take it well when she did not go for a swim with him when he asked.
What he didn’t see later at the Blue Party was Paige telling Jay she was only interested in Jacques.
“She’s f**led me off now, she can f**k off,” he fumed to Andrew.
And then later vented to Dami: “Now I am a bit…she’s maybe saying one thing to me then doing another.”
The outburst came after Jacques confessed he’d “never cared” for a girl before meeting Paige, 24.
Sitting on the villa steps on Sunday’s show, he told the paramedic: “I didn’t want to tell you that I cared.”
