FURIOUS Love Island fans have slammed show bosses after they targeted Teddy and Faye AGAIN – despite sparking over 5,000 Ofcom complaints last time.
The teaser for tonight’s episode saw the pair have a furious bust-up after a challenge let the Islanders watch clips from earlier in the series.
But while fans had hoped that the videos would expose Jake egging on the other boys, or the extent of Liam’s infidelity in Casa Amor, they instead showed Faye slamming Teddy.
The hunk was visibly hurt as she was shown ranting to the other girls about him “not being funny” while he was in the second villa.
She was also seen spooning with new boy Sam, and showering him with compliments – having coupled up with Sam after being led to believe Teddy had been unfaithful in Casa Amor.
While Teddy looked close to tears, Faye was cackling wildly – and the fallout looks set to explode in tonight’s episode.
Last month, Love Island sparked the most Ofcom complaints in its six-year history after sending a misleading postcard that showed Teddy kissing another girl.
Fans were furious as the snog had actually been part of a game of dares, and Teddy had been fiercely loyal to Faye throughout his time in the separate villa – even sleeping outside every night.
But producers haven’t appeared to learn their lesson, and viewers flocked to Twitter last night to accuse show bosses of unfairly targeting the couple – especially while Jake and Liam’s antics have failed to be exposed.
Former champ Amber Gill led the outrage, tweeting: “This is horrendous why do Teddy dirty again!? Jake and Liam get off Scot free.”
A fan agreed: “I’m convinced the producers have a personal vendetta against Teddy and Faye because how many times are they gonna sabotage them like this?”
Another wrote: “If the producers keep f***ing with Teddy and letting Jake off then I’M choosing violence.”
One more tweeted: “This is so unfair for Teddy you know.. He’s the best guy in there & he’s getting destroyed.”

A fourth echoed: “I love messy reality TV but there is a limit. What the @LoveIsland producers are doing to Teddy is cruel, I actually feel uncomfortable watching it. @ITV, you really allowing this to continue?”
After realising that they had been tricked, Faye and Teddy managed to overcome the postcard obstacle, with viewers breaking down in tears when the pair had a romantic reunion on the terrace.
But will they be able to get over this latest heartache? Or will it all prove to be too much for the fan favourites?
