Furious fans of the hit BBC dancing show have hit out claiming bosses are getting ready to dump the cameraman and presenter.
Strictly fans have hit out at bosses and accused them of ‘planning’ Hamza’s exit
The wildlife presenter is a fan favourite to win this year’s series
Viewers watched as Hamza and his pro partner Jowita Przystal performed in the quarter finals last weekend.
The pair danced to the Lion King for Musicals Week.
Their emotional routine was praised by all four judges, with Craig Revel Horwood in particular calling out Hamza’s spectacular solo steps.
Despite the praise from the judges, viewers accused them of underscoring Hamza.
And now they think they’ve spotted a clue that the 32-year-old’s departure from the show is being planned.
They pointed out how he performed second during the latest show – which is commonly known as the ‘death slot’.
Taking to social media, fans of the star vented their frustration.
“Sorry, but Hamza got no negative criticism there, and it was just as good as Molly’s, so how come he didn’t get any 10s…? And they put him in the death slot. They best not be planning his exit,” said one.
Another posted: “Death slot with a Samba that no one will know, either the boy has this in the bag or they are making him work for it. #scd #strictly.”
“How dare they put Hamza in the death slot?” said a third viewer.
Despite Hamza being a fan favourite to lift the glitterball trophy this year, a body language expert has warned he may be in danger of being eliminated.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton warned the star showed flashes of “fear”.
He also said this weekend could see the wildlife presenter leave the dance floor for good.
