Hit BBC Reality Show Glow Up Gets Greenlight for Seventh Series
The future of a hit BBC reality show has been revealed after its hosting shake-up for the sixth series. Beeb bosses have officially greenlit another run of BBC Three's makeup show Glow Up.
New Host Leomie Anderson to Lead the Seventh Series
Casting is already underway for the show, with the seventh series set to hit screens next year. Leomie Anderson will be back at the helm, having replaced Maya Jama last year.
About Glow Up
Glow Up features ten amateur makeup artists competing in weekly challenges to be crowned the champion. The winner not only receives the title of Britain's newest makeup star but also gets a boost into the highly competitive industry.
Host Shake-Up
Stacey Dooley was the original host of the show when it began in 2019. However, she was quietly removed from the series after breaching the BBC's strict rules. Her involvement in a campaign for Clairol was deemed to go against BBC guidelines.
Leomie Anderson expressed her excitement, calling the hosting role for Glow Up "a dream come true."
