As well as prequel series House of the Dragon, The Hollywood Reporter now claims an animated show is in the works at HBO Max.

The publication reports meetings with writers are underway and the spin-off is thought to have a similar tone to the original show.

However, the project is yet to be officially confirmed.

The reports come a month after the House of the Dragon prequel series was announced.

Olivia will play Alicent Hightower, the daughter of the Hand of the King.

Meanwhile Emma, 28, will star as fierce dragonrider Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the eldest child of the king.
