ACTRESS Gemma Atkinson has been left mortified after her daughter delivered a bombshell comment to her just days after giving birth.
The popular star, 38, confirmed that she had welcomed her second child earlier this week, a boy, with Strictly star Gorka Marquez, 32.
Gemma’s daughter Mia left her red-faced with a shock comment
She questioned the size of her stomach
However, Gemma has quickly learned the reality of parenthood does not run smoothly after the couple’s first born, Mia, shocked her mum with a rather surprise comment.
Taking to her Instagram story, Gemma shared the message as she appeared to see the funny side of the innocent mishap.
Gemma’s post read: “Mia just sat me down, looked me in the eye with that deep in thought look and said, ‘Mummy why does your tummy still look like it has a baby in it even though my brother is out’?”
The former Emmerdale star added a series of laughing emojis after revealing the blunder.
Confirming that her “little man” had arrived earlier this week, Gemma wrote: “Little man is here. He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be.
“We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.
“Thank you for all your lovely well wishes. Our family is complete.”
The news comes after The Celeb Report revealed that Gemma has signed up to star in a brand new reality series with her soap star pals.
She will star alongside Brooke Vincent, Jen Metcalfe, Roxy Shahidi and Amy Walsh in a new reality show, dubbed The Real Motherland.
Cameras will follow the group of friends, joined by three more celebrity names yet to be announced, as they juggle family life with their careers on camera.
But it will be far from glam, with a warts-and-all look into the lives of the modern mums.
A TV insider said: “We are so used to seeing celebrity mums on our screens, with a whole host of reality series about parenthood — but this new venture will show a very different side to motherhood.
“There’s nothing glamorous to see here — just the highs and lows of a group of real women, juggling their careers, kids and home life in a unique look behind closed doors.”
Gemma will soon be sharing her life as a mum of two on a new reality TV show
