GEORDIE Shore is set for a massive cast cull for the upcoming series after bosses decided to streamline the show.
MTV has ordered another series with the original cast after the reunion show was a huge hit.
Geordie Shore The Reunion was a huge hit – but not all of the stars are returning for the next series

But not everyone will be invited back as the series will take a closer look at the lives of its more popular stars – many of whom are close pals.
A TV Insider said: “The reunion show featured 31 former stars at various points in the run, but they will not all be asked back for the upcoming series which starts filming next month.
“Execs are axing around half of them.
“They want to focus more on the core characters and the most recognisable names.”
The Celeb Report has learned that show favourites Charlotte Crosby, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan, Nathan Henry and Marnie Simpson have been saved and the series will centre around milestones in their lives.
“All the favourites like Charlotte, Holly, Marnie, Nathan and Chloe are safe but a lot of the peripheral cast members are going to be gutted,” the insider added.
“They love being part of the show, and were desperate to be asked back.”
Rather than going back to the Geordie Shore house, this time cameras will follow the cast in their own lives, as well as on a big holiday together – and bosses wanted there to be drama but also plenty of laughs.
Bosses are keen to replicate the success of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation which premiered in 2018 and is now in its sixth series.
The insider said: “The problem is, the next run is taking on a new format, more in line with US show Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, so it doesn’t suit a huge cast.”
