GINO D’Acampo hit out at This Morning’s strict rules on hosts plugging their products as Stacey Solomon appeared on the show.
Stacey, 32, sat down with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Thursday’s episode of the ITV programme to talk about her new book, Tap to Tidy at Pickle Cottage.
Gino told Stacey he’s annoyed that he can’t plug his own book on This Morning
The pair teamed up to make some centrepieces from Stacey’s new DIY book
After the interview Loose Women panellist Stacey teamed up with chef Gino, 46, to make some Halloween-themed table centrepieces – and he didn’t hold back with his thoughts on not being able to talk about his own book on the show.
Gino told Stacey: “I’m a bit annoyed that you’re allowed here to come and plug your book and none of us can do that.”
She replied: “When’s your book out, Gino?”
But he went on: “No, because Oftom, Oflom or whatever they call those people, they tell me off. You can’t do this, you can’t do that…”

Holly, 41, chimed in: “There’s actually a rule you’re listening to, Gino!”
Rounding off his rant, he added: “I want to know who is Mr Ofcom? One day I need to talk to this guy.”
Regulator Ofcom has strict rules that prohibit presenters from plugging books that are not related to the programme or published independently of the broadcaster.
Gino’s 15th book – Gino’s Italian Family Adventure – is due to be released next month.
