Gogglebox fans all have the same complaint after watching ‘traumatising’ scene

GOGGLEBOX fans all had the same complaint after watching a traumatising scene.

Last night’s instalment of the Channel 4 show saw the cast cover their eyes as an episode of Netflix’s Animal played out on their TV screens.

Gogglebox viewers were left lost for words after a “traumatising” scene was aired on last night’s show

A baby kangaroo was welcomed into the world on the programme

At first they were all smiles as a baby kangaroo was welcomed into the world.

15 months later his mum’s pouch was soon taken over by his younger sister, meaning that he had to fend for himself.

Moments after they introduced the new joey, the camera zoomed in on a pack of dingos looking for some food.

The voiceover told viewers that the older roo had nowhere to go because his mum’s pouch was occupied, so the cast thought that something bad was going to happen to him.

“If he can’t keep up with the mob, he’s in trouble,” they said.

But it was actually the mum who was having difficulties.

As she bounced to safety at the back of the mob, the joey fell out of her pouch and the wild dog caught her.

Helena Worthington shouted: “Oh mum don’t look!”

Peter Sandiford added: “Well that is charming, you fall out your mum’s pouch she’s like ‘I’m off!'”

And viewers were just as shocked.

One wrote on Twitter: “The nature programmes that they show are literally traumatising.”

A second said: “This is why I hate nature programmes.”

A third chimed in: “i don’t care if it gets entertaining reactions, stop showing really upsetting nature documentaries of poor animals being killed.”

But luckily Pete revealing his newborn baby son’s name cheered them all up.

The Channel 4 favourite, who announced that he had become a dad in September, shared a sweet photo on his birthday alongside his adorable son.

In the Instagram post, Pete told fans that baby Jimmy has helped him celebrate his 27th birthday.

The doting father beamed at the camera, while the crying tot didn’t look impressed in the hilarious snap.

He penned: “Jimmy wishing his daddy a happy birthday
