Gogglebox reveal Jenny Newby’s Line Of Duty notepad as she tries to identify the killer

Gogglebox star Jenny Newby has turned into a TV detective in a bid to catch who the killer is in the cop show Line of Duty.

Jenny is taking Line of Duty viewing very seriously and even has a notebook full of her theories so she can keep up with the fast-paced drama.

And now Gogglebox has given fans a sneak peek of Jenny’s scribblings.

The Gogglebox account tweeted: “Take a screen grab and zoom in for your sneak peek into Detective Jenny’s notebook as the investigation continues!”

The close up grab of her notes shows a handy acronym guide and action from episode three.

In there are her theories that it’s “defo not Boyle” who killed Gail Vella.

Viewers were intrigued when Jenny pulled out a black notepad while sat alongside best pal Lee Riley on the Channel 4 show to watch the police drama return on BBC One screens last month.

She appeared to be jotting down the comings and goings of the characters as the action played out which had Gogglebox viewers laughing at how serious she was taking it.

Understandable and very sensible of Jenny given all the various acronyms the show has from your ARUs to your ARVs, not to mention trying to identify who the infamous H might be.

Ted Hastings would definitely approve of Jenny’s keen interest in finding ‘bent coppers’.

Viewers admired Jenny’s idea and dedication to the cause.

“This is very helpful – thanks Jenny,” one tweeted, while another wrote under the photo: “I definitely need a Jenny notepad.”

Jenny’s bright idea has even caught the attention of the Line of Duty cast.

Actor Gregory Piper, who plays PC Ryan Pilkington in the show, posted on Twitter to say it ‘made his day’, when he saw his character’s name make it into the book.

Piper wrote: “Watching @C4Gogglebox and ‘Pilkington’ making it into Jenny’s notebook has made my day! #LOD6 @leegogglebox.”
