GOGGLEBOX legend Stephen Lustig-Webb has signed up for Celebs Go Dating after stunning fans with his shock divorce announcement. Stephen, 52, who split from his husband Daniel, 43, only last month, is hoping to give love another stab on the E4 reality show.
Exciting New Project for Stephen
Stephen was scouted by bosses after announcing he was back on the market and is ready to take on a new adventure. A TV insider revealed, "Bosses were really keen to get him as soon as they heard he and Stephen had split as they know viewers will invest in his path to finding love again."
What to Expect on Celebs Go Dating
Celebs Go Dating follows a group of single stars as they look for love, with a bit of help from dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson. While a return date for the show has not been confirmed, series 12 premiered in September 2023.
Other Celebs in Talks for the Show
Other stars like Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps, Love Island's Hannah Elizabeth, and MAFS bride Ella Morgan are also understood to have held meetings with producers for the show.
Remaining on Friendly Terms
Despite the split, Stephen has remained on friendly terms with his ex Daniel, as they continue to run a hair salon together. Stephen shot to fame on Gogglebox and has appeared on the show for over a decade.
Dancing On Ice Setback
Stephen's appearance on Dancing On Ice was cut short this year due to an ankle injury, but he is now excited to be back on TV with Celebs Go Dating.
