GOGGLEBOX viewers were left in stitches last night after Jenny Newby mistook a condom for a chocolate bar.
The Channel 4 favourite was joined by her best friend Lee Riley in the caravan as they watched an episode of Netflix series You.
In the episode from season three, fans watched as the show leads, Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn, embarked on a foursome with their neighbours, Sherry and Cary Conrad.
As Sherry got ready to get intimate with Joe, she was seen tearing a condom wrapper with her teeth.
However the scene left Jenny a little confused as she turned to her BFF Lee and hilariously asked: “What’s she eating a chocolate bar for?”
A stunned Lee then informed her that it was actually a condom before bursting out laughing.
And it wasn’t only Lee that was left giggling over the blunder but also viewers at home who took to Twitter in their droves to comment on the hilarity.
One penned: “Chocolate bar! Bloody hell Jenny! #Gogglebox”.
Another said: “That’s me done hahaha jenny is classic #Gogglebox.”
“A chocolate bar, oh what you like Jenny. #Gogglebox,” a third commented.
A fan added: “Jenny, you’re mint! LOL #YouNetflix #Gogglebox.”
Lee and Jenny have been fan favourites since they joined the cast back on season four in 2014.
The hilarious best mate duo, known for giving their take on shows from the comfort of Lee’s caravan, made their Channel 4 show comeback last week.
Yet it was Lee’s look which commanded attention as they gave their take on everything from Coronation Street to farming programmes.
The Gogglebox pair introduced the show playing with resistance bands, with Lee sporting a baby pink top and jeans.
He gave off a golden glow – which fans picked up on immediately, with one quipping: “Bucketloads of fake tan in this episode.”
Another posted: “Lee’s tan has David Dickinson vibes,” while a third took to Twitter to simply write: “Lee’s tan!”
Yet others showed their support, with one posting: “Lee fab colour,” as another wrote: “Lee’s got a lovely colour on him and he’s going to wear shorts for weeks, love him!”
EMOTIONAL COMEBACK
During the episode, Lee was left stunned as his best mate was reduced to tears during an episode of Coronation Street.
Businessman Johnny Connor – who is played by actor Richard Hawley in the ITV soap – drowned after saving his ex-wife Jenny who had fallen into a sinkhole.
After his heroic deed, Johnny’s body gave up and he passed out, drowning in the old sewer system.
But in a devastating scene before his passing, Johnny began to hear the voice of his late son Aidan calling him dad.
He had previously had visions of Aidan as a symptom of his MS.
The heartbreaking scenes moved Jenny to tears and left the other Gogglebox stars in shock.
One viewer said: “I laugh everytime Lee slowly turns his head and silently stares at Jenny when she’s crying at something.”
