GOGGLEBOX star Pete Sandiford has shared rare details about his wife Paige Yeomans after the pair tied the knot in secret last year.
The 27-year-old revealed in September that he’d married Paige in May last year.
The couple announced that they were expecting back in April 2021 and Pete confirmed at the 26th Annual National Television Awards on September 9, 2021 that she had given birth.
He didn’t say when exactly his new son was born, but said of being a new dad: “It’s a bit overwhelming – got it all going on at the moment!”
He added: “He’s a cool little lad, takes after his mum not me!”
Pete later revealed his son adorable was called Jimmy.
However, Pete, who appears on Gogglebox alongside sister Sophie, has remained private about his family life
But as Gogglebox returned to screens on Friday night, the Channel 4 star opened up about his “awkward” first encounter with Paige, much to the delight of fans.
He revealed: “It got quite awkward actually our first date when me and Paige went.
“We were in a bar in London, and I bought this bloke a beer, which in London, you don’t seem to buy anyone a drink.
“It was like he was my best friend, he didn’t leave us alone, so he was with us for our whole date!”
Paige has never appeared on Googlebox with her husband, but he has brought their newborn son on for a cameo appearance a handful of times.
According to her social media, Paige graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2019 with a degree in English language and linguistics.
It’s thought that she currently works as an Emergency Service Call Handler.
Pete revealed in an interview with OK! magazine in September last year that the couple had secretly married.
He told the mag: “I’m married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second-best day as I’m a dad now, too.”
