Gogglebox’s return date revealed – as star poses in bikini on holiday and Jenny brandishes Bafta in her garden

GOGGLEBOX’S stars have revealed the exact date the show is coming back.

The likes of Abbie Lynn, who has been posing for snaps on holiday with her boyfriend, posted the date.

The series will return in a little under two weeks’ time, on Friday 9 September at 9pm.

Abbie shared a Gogglebox announcement heralding the “brand new series” above a shot of the Siddiqui family on the sofa.

The star, 21, wrote simply: “Bring on the next series!”

She has been posting a string of snaps from her break with rarely-seen boyfriend Callum.

Once back in the UK she will begin filming again with her friend and new mum Georgia Bell in Country Durham.

Elsewhere, show favourite Jenny Newby shared a hilarious video to co-star and pal Lee Riley.

She said, referring to Gogglebox’s win at the Bafta TV Awards: “Hiya Lee, it’s only me.

“I’ve got me Bafta. I know I couldn’t be up there with you on the night.

“I swapped my evening gown for my theatre gown and my black stockings for surgical stockings and me silver clutch bag for a catheter bag.

“But all in all, I never got to say thank you to you. You know, for the support you gave me through the pandemic when we were filming.

“The things you did for me like giving me that 9ft by 5ft bedroom with wall-to-wall walls and enough room under the bed for me Pot Noodle.

“And the one shelf you gave me in the kitchen. And I had to stand on a step to get to it.

Thank for for being me bezzie mate and I’m hoping to see you soon. Bye bye.”

Revealing they are due to start filming again next week, he wrote: “This is why I love this woman
