GOOD Morning Britain viewers claimed Richard Madeley was more Alan Partridge than ever today.
The broadcaster is often compared to the fictional local radio host played by Steve Coogan, but today he was particularly Partridgesque.
One viewer was exasperated when Richard asked how long the iPod had been around for in a discussion about it ceasing production after 20 years.
They wrote on Twitter: “Richard Madeley with vintage Partridge there! ‘How long has it been out for?’ They literally just said it!”
Another was baffled by a random riddle he gave to Susana Reid before an ad break.
They posted: “Richard Madeley turning @GMB into a Radio Norwich sorry Radio Derby phone in from 1983…who cares about who likes Ocra or Cherries…”

A third complained: “I am really bored of Richard Madeley, which I never thought would happen, but his partridge-isms, are too much now. He is becoming a parody of himself.”
Richard was back in the saddle yesterday after being replaced by Martin Lewis on Monday.
He didn’t hold back, laying into Prince Harry for a new travel ad.
“This isn’t going to get him a Bafta,” he laughed.
He asked viewers: “Should Harry go into acting?
“You can judge for yourself from this comedy sketch.”
Both he and Susanna laughed after clips from the ad were shown, before Richard said: “It is dreadful, isn’t it?
“How did they even allow that to come out?”
Susanna defended the video, which aims to direct Kiwis to a holiday rating tool on the Travalyst website.
“Well, look, he’s promoting something green and eco conscious and really important,” she said.
“It’s not just promoting travel companies, it’s all about rating travellers.”
