GOOD Morning Britain viewers are calling for the return of guest host Gordon Smart after Ed Balls’ four-day stint.
The popular presenter, 42, made his debut between Christmas and New Year, but hasn’t been on-screen since.

He worked alongside Charlotte Hawkins
Ever since Piers Morgan’s dramatic departure from the show in March 2021, there’s been a string of replacement hosts on rotation.
Alongside ex-Labour politician Ed, Richard Madeley, Adil Ray, Ben Shephard and Rob Rinder regularly present the ITV breakfast show.
Judge Rinder fronted the breakfast show on Monday, but ended up in hospital hours later with a slipped disk.
It meant Ed was in the hot seat for the rest of the week.
Now fans are demanding Gordon makes a comeback and is given a shot alongside Susanna Reid.
It’s after he was praised as a “breath of fresh air” when he hosted alongside Charlotte Hawkins in December.
Messaging Gordon on Twitter, one fan asked: “Morning Gordon. Why haven’t you been back on @GMB since your very positive first time? Did you not like it?”
The Radio X broadcaster and former Scottish Sun editor replied: “The bosses are happy with the team they have – good ratings!
“Five people ahead of me in pecking order so have to wait my turn.”
Another fan asked GMB: “Any news on @gordonsmart introduced before Christmas as the new presenter?
“I’d never heard of him before, but he seems professional & that quality, for #GMB male presenters, is in very short supply.”
Someone else insisted: “Gordon Smart has to come back.”
Another agreed: “Yes please, more of Gordon on!”
Others believe he should even be given a permanent spot on the show.
“@gordonsmart presenting alongside either @CharlotteHawkns or @susannareid100 when @benshephard is not available – that’s your new full-time presenter.
“Gordon did such a great job that he deserves a long-term contract. #GMB.”
