GOOD Morning Britain fans were delighted today when Des Coleman hosted the weather.
The popular presenter is familiar to EastEnders fans for playing Lenny Wallace from 1996 to 1999.

The character appeared alongside pal Huw Edwards in Albert Square’s short-lived ‘squat’ where they tormented Ian Beale.
Des went on to appear in Casualty, The Bill and even appeared in the West End before moving into weather presenting.
Today he replaced Laura Tobin, 40, at the weather wall.
He has stood in for the star – or Alex Beresford – on Good Morning Britain before – and is known to be a firm favourite with fans.
One wrote today: “Yay, Des is back” while another cheered: “Love seeing our Des on GMB.”

Another said: “People think they’re cool and then see @DESCOLEMAN doing the weather and realise what cool really is.”
Others remarked on how well the star has aged, with one posting: “Bloody hell, Des is 60.”
Good Morning Britain has been airing a series of special shows after the death of the Queen last week.
It’s the only one of ITV’s daytime hits that has regularly aired, with Ben Shephard, Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway fronting the shows in sombre outfits.
Laura Tobin was fronting the weather yesterday but was replaced this morning by Des.
Like his co-stars he was dressed in black as the UK’s period of mourning for the Queen continues.
Des’ career in weather started at the BBC in 2007 after getting trained by the Met Office.
He joined the ITV weather unit in 2016 and regularly fronts forecasts for Central, the broadcaster’s Midlands operation.
