SUSANNA Reid took a cheeky swipe at her co-host Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain today.
The pair – who have fuelled rumours of an off-screen ‘feud’ – reunited to present the breakfast show as Cannes Film Festival kicked off.
But on Richard’s last show of the week, Susanna couldn’t help but make a dig about the 65-year-old’s story-telling.
She was ending Richard Arnold’s live report from the South of France where stars are flocking to for the famous festival.
Asking if he could add something, Richard said: “Can I give you my Cannes Film Festival memory?
“It was many many years ago…”

Susanna said: “Ah yes. Stand by, Richard [Arnold].”
The 51-year-old cheekily smirked as Richard began his story, while Richard Arnold burst out laughing at her dig.
It didn’t put off host Richard who launched into his story about bumping into Jack Nicholson while in Cannes on holiday with his wife Judy Finnigan.
Richard said: “He was at the crossroads and he waved me across, he waved me across!
“It’s a memory I will treasure, for years. Just a brief encounter with the star of stars.”
Susanna – who had listened intently to Richard’s story with a smile after her cheeky joke – added: “I thought you were going to say he asked for your autograph. That would have been the icing on the cake.”
Richard burst out laughing before adding: “What? When I was presenting Border News and Lookaround? I don’t think that would have been the case.”
Susanna insisted: “Everyone knows who you are.”
Last month GMB fans speculated Susanna and Richard were secretly feuding after they had been embroiled in “awkward clashes” on air.
The pair have fronted GMB Mondays to Wednesdays since just before Christmas.
The veteran broadcaster took over the job nine months after the departure of Piers Morgan, who has launched a new show on TalkTV.
However, Richard has been taking days off in recent weeks, and was replaced on GMB today, after admitting his future on the show was uncertain.
He said: “I do it month to month at the moment and I’m very happy to.
“I quite like operating at that level. I’ve had my main career curve. I’m not seeking another huge career arch.
“We’ll see what happens, but I enjoy it, I enjoy doing it.”
