Gordon Ramsay is gearing up for a showdown with Bake Off as he secures a lucrative £25million deal to launch a new baking show. The MasterChef US star is set to turn up the heat in the kitchen with his upcoming series.
New show, new challenges
Ramsay, known for his fiery personality on cooking shows like The F-Word and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, is going back to his roots with the launch of "Next Level Baker" on Fox. The show will feature bakers competing across three levels to create festive holiday treats, with one contestant aiming to win the top prize and crown.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new show, Ramsay shared, "I’m delighted that Next Level Baker is coming to Fox later this year. This holiday special will showcase passionate home cooks, social media creators, and professional pastry chefs, all vying to impress with their baking skills."
Future plans and UK potential
As part of the deal, Ramsay will also continue with two more series of "Next Level Chef" on the network. While the baking show is set to air only in the US, there's a possibility for a UK network to pick up the format if it gains popularity, similar to how ITV previously embraced "Next Level Chef."
US love for baking shows
Notably, The Great British Bake Off has captured the hearts of US viewers, known as "The Great British Baking Show" across the pond. The US also has its own version, "The Great American Baking Show," with renowned chefs like Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith joining the series over the years.
