HAIRY Bikers star Dave Myers has revealed that he’s returned to work amid his cancer battle.
The TV chef, 65, has credited his new sauerkraut diet for boosting his immune, which includes fermented cabbage and other gut-friendly meals to help him on his road to recovery.

Dave, who revealed his diagnosis in May last year, said he and TV partner Simon King, 56, started filming a new series last week.
“It’s unbelievable to be back. Every breath I take now is just refreshing and fabulous. It varies really what food I’ve been having,” he said.
“At some stage I need to put weight on but I need things to boost my immune system.
“So I’ve been eating a lot of sauerkraut. It really works for me – sauerkraut, kimchi and meatballs. I live by it. It’s a probiotic and good for the immune system and keeps you regular. I love it. It’s the healthy eating that does it,” he told the Mirror.
Dave revealed that he’ll be back on screen very soon as the duo get to work on a brand new cooking series.
“We got back filming this week, a new TV series, and it is a huge step back to normality and winning an award. I got diagnosed last March so it’s been over a year,” he continued.
“It’s a work in progress and it’s all going the right way. I’m getting there and I’m back on the bike.”
Dave last month appeared on ITV’s This Morning for the first time since he revealed his diagnosis.
Dave spoke of his ongoing recovery and said he was “doing very well,” adding: “It’s so nice to be back”.
He appeared alongside his Hairy Bikers co-star Simon, who said: “He’s just as irritating so it’s great.”
Dave continued: “It’s a work in progress but I’ve got my hair back.
“It’s the healthy eating you see that does it!”
In March Dave spoke of his struggle with his “brutal” chemotherapy.
He said: “I’m still having it. I lost so much weight, then it’s a battle to get your calories in.
“Now I’ve got to the point where I’m at the weight I want to be, and I want to maintain it.”
