Harry Potter Malfoy family cast then and now – from tragic deaths to drug addiction to hunky makeover

HARRY Potter fans will know that Voldemort was not the only villainous character their favourite childhood wizard had to face.

While there’s plenty of contenders for the wizarding franchise’s biggest antagonist – there is no doubt who caused the most trouble as young sorcerer Harry’s biggest competition at Hogwarts: Draco Malfoy.

The Malfoy’s were well-known antagonists throughout the series

Draco – with his tendencies to practice dark magic and insufferable arrogance – often clashed with much-loved protagonist Harry on screen.

But while fans may remember the Slytherin student from his frequent features in the films, some may be wondering what he is doing now.

That, and where the actors and actresses behind the rest of the Malfoy family – from Lucius to Narcissa, Scorpius and Bellatrix – have gone.

To honour Draco actor Tom Felton’s birthday today, we’re ready to deep dive into what the cast have been up to since Harry Potter came to an end.

From drug addiction to make-overs, Hollywood success and tragic deaths, there’s a lot for film fans to catch up on!

He revealed how it all began when he and his friends were given a bottle of Southern Comfort by a bartender when they were just 12 years old.

Jason opened up to fans, saying: “The next morning, I woke up with a splitting headache, stinking of puke with a huge scab and the memory of having utterly shamed myself.

“I just know I chased the sheer ecstatic joy I felt that night for another 20 years with increasingly dire consequences.”

From then on, Jason battled with sobriety before finally taking time out from work to overcome his alcohol-related issues.

He tweeted to fans in August 2020: “Please don’t anyone congratulate me or tell me they’re proud of me. I am and was useless by myself. Pride’s the worst part.”
