ANNA Knight immediately caught Bobby Beale’s eye when she first settled in Albert Square alongside her family.
Sadly for the EastEnders lad played by Clay Milner Russell, the newcomer gets closer to another Walford resident next week.

Bernie Taylor (portrayed by Clair Norris) is due to celebrate her birthday in upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap.
Bobby takes the opportunity to ask his love interest Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) to help him arrange a surprise birthday party for Bernie in an attempt to get closer to the newcomer.
As mentioned above, Bobby has been very keen on getting to know Anna better since she first showed up in Walford – but his pal Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) could get in his way.
Anna agrees to help Bobby but she is unconvinced by his Cider, Cheese and Chess night.
This prompts her to recruit a down-trodden Freddie.
While he struggles to face it Freddie is later convinced by Anna after the pair have a heart-to-heart in The Vic about his father.
The pair bond over their shared experience of being let down by absent parents.
Regular viewers of the London-based program will remember that Freddie recently found out his father, Graham Foster, raped his mother Little Mo, which resulted in his birth.
Freddie struggled with his discovery and, despite wanting to bond with his father more than anything, he resorted to try and forget all about him out of love for his mother.
But while Freddie may appear interested in Anna, he ends up trying to play matchmaker between her and Bobby by bowing out of their party planning meeting.
Sadly, when Bobby tries to pretend he’s someone he’s not, Anna makes her own excuses and says she’s got to work.
In later scenes, Bernie’s birthday party is a roaring success but Bobby starts to worry that Anna may have feelings for Freddie.
Little does he know her mind is elsewhere – at the party Anna receives a message from her private investigator, and after a chat with Freddie, she decides to meet him.
Anna has hired an investigator in an attempt to find her long-lost mother Rose Knight aka Cindy Beale – Bobby’s former stepmother.
What will the private investigator tell her?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
