THE NEW Channel 5 family drama Heat is ramping up to its concluding episode, and with only one episode remaining, fans want to know if Brad will get his comeuppance.
In tonight’s outing of Heat, the cause of Tom’s hand injury was revealed, and it was not what viewers were led to believe.

As with all issues so far for the families, Brad was at the centre of it.
Onlookers saw what really happened with Brad’s ‘creepy’ nature levelling up and his obsession with the women of the Cameron family coming to light.
Brad (Darren McMullen) has tabs on the family, having recorded daughter Mia (Matia Marks) and boyfriend Jet (Richie Morris) being intimate and getting too close to Steve’s (Danny Dyer) wife Sarah (Pia Miranda), and now fans were shocked to see him get away with breaking and entering.
In an effort to get close to Mia in the opening scenes, viewers saw Brad approach a house that Mia and Jet entered.
Trying to stalk towards the house, onlookers blasted how easily he would have been seen.
He managed to enter the house in full street view and illuminated by streetlights, even a dog barking didn’t catch him out.
The pest even stood in the bedroom doorway, watching Jet and Mia roll around on the bed.
The couple stirred from their intimate moment only when her younger brother Tom (Matteo Annetta) came home.
In haste to get out, Brad swings open the front door knocking Tom to the floor unconscious, followed a split second later by Jet.
One fan said: “Brad’s gonna go full serial killer at this rate. He’s already been manipulating and gaslighting everyone.”
Another added: “The wildfire will probably be the last episode when Brad is found out.”
A third said: “He’s so going to make sure that Tom dies isn’t he.”
So Jet wasn’t the cause of Tom’s hand injury all along.
Brad continued to pursue Mia while also dialling up his affair with Sarah.
The episode ended with Tom in a hallucinogenic state after smoking some of Pip’s (Hunter Hayden) marijuana and running off in the direction of the bushfire after catching Brad filming his sister and Jet yet again.
Will Tom survive the smoke, and will Brad be exposed for the villain he is?
