Helen has opened up about her TV comeback after wowing fans on I’m A Celeb
The former Corrie star teased a return to the hit soap as she spoke about the fab new Nickwatch that her adorable daughters Matilda and Delilah adore
Helen, 32, wowed the nation as she made a return to I’m A Celeb… South Africa and stunned fans as she did a complete u-turn from her first stint and smashed her dare-devil challenges on the hit ITV show.
Now the doting mum-of-three, who quit Corrie in 2017 to focus on being a mum, is already auditioning for shows for a magnificent comeback.
In an exclusive chat with The Celeb Report, the actress said: “I would absolutely love to go back to Corrie at some point.
“It’s just timing. You know if you’re a mum, it’s working through things with the kids. I definitely want to do it at some point.”
Fans will be excited Helen has already got the ball rolling on a few projects.
She said: “I’m auditioning at the moment. I’ve got some nice auditions and what have you. I’d really like to do some theatre. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for ages but I’ve just not got round to it.
“I love Bridgerton. I’d love to do a Netflix series. 100 percent, I’d love to do something like that.”
Speaking of her comeback on I’m A Celeb, she said: “I really felt like I had something to prove. I didn’t want to be pathetic and rubbish at trials.
“I wanted to give it a go. I had my little girl cheering me on. I couldn’t not have done it as she would have been gutted at home, so I had all that motivation. You grow so much in 10 years and you grow so much so it just makes you stronger.
“What made me tough? Everything is in your mind, overcoming fears, so I worked on mindfulness, rationalising your fears, that kind of thing really. I’ve got a massive height phobia and I ended up doing the highest height trial there was on I’m A Celeb.
“You just feel so good about yourself afterwards.”
Helen was delighted to team up with Nickwatch for the launch of their new smartphone which her daughters Matilda and Delilah adore.
It came as a new study revealed parents admitted to losing their child five times before the age of 10.
Helen discussed the importance of on and offline safety, and the ability to track your child when you are not with them using the Nickwatch.
She said: “I’ve collaborated with Nickwatch and my kids absolutely love them. My little girls the 5 and 8, are obsessed with them.
They want to go on TikTok but i’m like, ‘No’ you’re far too young.’ Whereas this is cool, because there’s games for them to do, and it’s social media free, which is important when you’ve got young children. I don’t think it’s healthy for them to have social media too young. It’s got a tracker as well which is really cool so it gives you peace of mind as a parent.”
The NickWatch, a new connected smartwatch for children aged 6-9, with built-in GPS tracking and a wealth of Nickelodeon-inspired interactive games and tasks for kids, is available to purchase now on www.nickwatch.com with the linked Caretaker App downloadable on all App stores.
