HELEN Flanagan has revealed why she wore her engagement ring on I’m A Celebrity despite her secret split from Scott Sinclair.
The former Coronation Street actress was seen flashing the ring for viewers on the show, despite her engagement to the footballer ending just two months before.

Helen, 32, has now revealed that she wore the ring to avoid talking about her breakup while filming for the show.
The TV star, who shares her children Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, one, with Scott, 34, flew to South Africa to film for I’m A Celeb just weeks after the split.
She told OK! magazine of her decision to keep the ring on: “I did wear my engagement ring when I was in the jungle.
We’d only just broken up, and I didn’t want everyone to be
asking, ‘Where’s your ring?’
“I didn’t want to talk about it… I wanted to keep it private for the
kids, I didn’t want to be talking about it on the show.
“I did find that difficult, because I had all that going on in my head… we were together for 13 years – we both needed to deal with the breakup.”
Helen and Scott got engaged in 2018 – nine years after they were first linked in a romance back in 2009.
The actress revealed they had split in July last year after her engagement ring snapped.
Ahead of her time in the jungle, Helen broke her silence on what appeared to be a reunion between her and Scott in Dubai.
She had left fans confused after appearing to confirm the relationship was back on during a secret holiday this month.
The actress took to Instagram and looked to be wearing her engagement ring again as she posed in Dubai.
The mother-of-three had jetted off with her footballer ex to secretly spend time together with their children, despite their split.
An onlooker said: “Helen and Scott are both booked into the Grosvenor and while they’re making out they’re not together on social media, in reality they have been spending time together.
“They seem to be close still and appear from the outside to be a really happy family unit.”
However, Helen has now dished out the truth on her relationship with Scott, 34, by confirming they are NOT back together.
She told OK!: “Scott was there on a break from training, so we spent a day together with the kids. That was it.”
Helen added of the ring: “That’s so typical of me, I didn’t even think about wearing a ring on that finger. My ring is my ring, it’s for my girls.”
