Returning stars and new faces

A fan-favorite Paramount+ drama, "The Ex-Wife," is set to make a comeback for a second series with an exciting twist. Lead stars Celine Buckens and Tom Mison will reprise their roles, alongside Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks. Joining the cast is Irish actress Katie McGrath, known for her work in "Supergirl" and "Jurassic World."

A time jump and new challenges

The psychological thriller, based on a book of the same name, first premiered in October 2022. The upcoming series will pick up three years after the events of the first season, with Tasha (played by Buckens) and her daughter Emily (portrayed by Liberty Miller) living under false identities in Cyprus. However, their peaceful life is disrupted when Jack (Mison) is released from prison early, setting the stage for new twists and turns.

Filming underway in Cyprus

The production for the new series is currently in full swing in Cyprus, promising viewers an immersive continuation of the gripping storyline. With tensions high and relationships tested, fans can expect an intense and thrilling ride in the upcoming episodes of "The Ex-Wife."

Déjà vu for fans

Despite its popularity, some viewers experienced a sense of déjà vu when the show also aired on Channel 5 last year. Many took to social media, including X, to share their confusion, with some attributing it to the show's feature on "Gogglebox."
