HOLBY City is rocked by two new arrivals PLUS Davood Ghadami as he makes his explosive debut tonight.
Back in April it was revealed that the former EastEnders star will join the BBC medical soap as an “explosive” new surgeon.
During this evening’s instalment of the show, fans will FINALLY be able to meet Davood‘s new alter-ego – Eli Ebrahimi.
He’s brought in by new Director of Improvement to try and help the hospital.
The new consultant cardiothoracic surgeon is described as “excitable, passionate and exploding with energy”.
He’s certainly thrown into the deep end on his first day as he’s given a patient called Mohammad who starts to deteriorate very quickly.
Will he be able to cope?
Another person hired by the Director of Improvement is Madge Britton, played by former The Bill star Clare Burt.
The new AAU nurse is described as “stern, straight-talking and determined”… so it’s pretty obvious she’s going to ruffle up a few feathers.

And one person who certainly doesn’t see eye to eye with Madge is Ange.
The consultant general surgeon – who is expecting with twins – receives some scary news at a doctors appointment.
But she has to stay professional and try and figure out how she can work together with the new AAU nurse, as Madge makes it clear she’s not a fan of her.
Meanwhile Dom is desperate to try and help his adoptive mother Carol after she was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
However this means that when his blood mum needs him the most, he’s nowhere to be seen.
