FIGHTING for her life since being diagnosed with a brain tumour, Jac Naylor goes above and beyond to get her health on the right track.
But the Holby City surgeon will get some devastating news while Kylie Madden (Amy Murphy) is involved in a horrifying accident.
Jac’s declining health has fans of the BBC One soap wondering whether she’s being slowly killed off ahead of the programme’s grand finale.
The show’s final credits will roll in March, after more than two decades on the air.
Back in August 2021, the Holby City Hospital ice queen portrayed by Rosie Marcel revealed she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

She has since been trying her best to hide it as the symptoms catch up with her.
However, as she is willing to go to great lengths to survive, Jac has been pressuring her colleagues to save her.
After piling the pressure on Eli (Davood Ghadami) to perform a risky operation, Jac gave the same treatment to Nicky (Belinda Owusu).
Holby City viewers were baffled by Jac’s attitude as they know too well that Nicky is training for cardiothoracic surgery, meaning she doesn’t specialise in brain surgery.
In spite of her lack of experience, Nicky seems determined to help Jac.
But in scenes due to air next week, the junior doctor is put off by Jac’s cold behaviour, which leaves her frustrated.
When Nicky presents Jac with some surgeons who could perform the life-altering surgery, the latter is shattered when she fails to get anybody to bite the bullet.
Jac is then given a terrible prognosis in the absence of any surgery.
Meanwhile, Kylie is the target of an overwhelmed Madge Britton (Clare Burt).
The bubbly staff nurse defies the latter’s orders and goes out of her way to help a patient.
But tragedy soon strikes in the hospital car park when Kylie gets run over by a car.
The horrific accident leads to Kylie’s leg being trapped under the vehicle, with Bernie, Donna and the medics desperately trying to free it.
How will Madge, known for her no-nonsense approach and commitment to her job, react to Kylie’s accident?
Is all hope really lost for Jac?
Will Jac be able to keep Holby City Hospital afloat without pushing her staff to their breaking point?
Holby City airs next week on BBC One.
