Phil and Holly were in fits of laughter just moments into Wednesday’s episode after spotting a big change in the studio.

Presenter Phil, 60, revealed that he and Holly had just noticed the studio’s floor had been refurbished while they were away.

The pair only realised after looking down at the floor when they were told they weren’t standing in the right spot for the cameras

He told viewers: “We’ve only just looked down because neither of us were standing on the right mark and said, ‘ooh, it’s a new floor.'”

Holly added: “This time, we’re here and it’s the first time you start looking around and you start noticing different things.

“It’s a lovely new floor.”

It comes after show bosses axed its Spin To Win household bills prize after a huge backlash – and the show being branded “tone deaf”.

On Monday’s show the competition offered viewers the chance to have their energy bills paid in response to the current cost of living crisis.

Outraged fans took to social media to slam the concept as Spin To Win players were playing for either a cash prize or all of their household bills paid until the end of the year.

On Wednesday’s episode of the ITV show it was revealed Spin To Win was back to normal – offering callers prizes between £800 and £2000.

While neither Phillip Schofield or Holly Willoughby acknowledged the decision, it didn’t go unnoticed.

One viewer tweeted: “Oh they have taken the energy bills off nowt to do with them getting a load of flack for it.”
